2012 Rule Changes Adopted November 2nd, 2011
8U Division - Player Pitching will begin the FIRST GAME of the season. Inning breakdown for player and coach pitching is the same as last year. Players pitch the first (2) two innings and coach pitch the last (3) three innings. Run rules remain the same.

10U Division - Drop (3rd) third strike is in effect with 2 outs and the bases loaded, the runner on third may advance on a drop third strike.
A discussion with 10U coaches about stealing home will be at the player draw.

8U - 19O DIVISIONS - All game times limits will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. No ties, the international tie breaker will be used at the time limit or at the end of regulation play (innings), which ever comes first.

New "Standings" Tie Breaker Procedure - Head to Head " games", Head to Head " least runs allowed", Divisional Play " least total runs allowed", and Head to Head " against next lower team in standings."

BBYSL All-Stars - Divisional All-Star teams will be comprised of the same number of players as the roster limits that are set fro each division. Coaches meeting to be held to pick All-Stars, coaches will be voting for the All-Stars off the opposing teams, not picking players off of their team. 14U and 18U divisions will select their All-Stars and then the President and All-Star Committee will then divide the All-Stars into two teams for their games.

12/01/11 BBYSL Adopts Temperature Policy
At our November 2nd 2011 Executive Board Meeting a Temperature Policy was created to help protect our players and coaches in the event of extreme heat conditions. The official website of www.weather.com will be used to determine the heat index 2 hours prior to game time.
11/12/11 BBYSL Field Usage
BBYSL Coaches, Parents, and Players should respect the fields at all times. If you come out to the fields and you see that some of them are freshly dragged and you see chalk lines on the infield. This means the fields are READY FOR A GAME. STAY OFF THE FIELDS. Move to other green space areas outside of the foul lines and outfield fences. Thank You For Your Cooperation!
